Jobs, and nature of work as we know it, change rapidly. Innovative companies redesign work to ensure machines are enhancing, not replacing, human capabilities as they transform for exponential growth in our digital service economy. As companies become more “digital,” employee empowerment is crucial for innovation. Disruptive changes to work behaviors and business models are profoundly impacting the nature of work. In many industries and countries, the most in-demand occupations, specialties, and skills did not exist 10 or even five years ago, and the pace of change is set to accelerate. This has a tremendous impact on how the workforce of the future acquires and applies new skills, and how companies organize work to stay nimble and competitive.
This workshop will bring together academics, practitioners and other thought leaders to explore these trends and learn how innovative companies prepare for the opportunities and challenges of the future of work.
Possible Topics to discuss include:
- The digital worker and personnel implications
- How can AI be used to help reskill workers that are impacted by AI

- New ways of thinking of workforce strategies…full-time employees, contractors + digital workers…how do you manage each holistically and separately?
