ISSIP Lead Branding Strategist

Duration: Aug 1, 2019, to Jan 31, 2020(Possibility to renew)

Consistent with ISSIP Bylaws, and Policies, ISSIP Executive Committee is calling for nominations for a Lead Branding Strategist to explore creative ways ISSIP might improve its brand.  

All members of ISSIP are invited to participate in this process.  Qualifications for this position include experience with branding and marketing, a demonstrated interest in the intersection of service innovation, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and future of work, excellent written skills, and a moderate amount of project management.  In this role, the Lead Branding Strategist will work with ISSIP Executive Director, and senior leaders and executives from IBM, Cisco, Facebook, UNH-Optum, and distinguished academics and innovation thought leaders from all over the globe to understand ISSIP mission, vision, strategy and recommends ways ISSIP might improve its brand.

Responsibilities include:

• Studying all aspects of ISSIP branding, including website, social media channels, brochure, content management strategy, and more to get a good sense of ISSIP identity
• Soliciting input from the ISSIP leadership team
• Identifying gaps between what is our current and desired state
• Recommend ways to improve ISSIP brand to best serve our current and future members’ needs

This role is a great volunteer opportunity to demonstrate branding and marketing expertise while contributing to the advancement of innovation globally and getting exceptional career advancing exposure to top-tier industry and academic leaders and scholars.   Student teams with communication and marketing major working on capstone projects may also be considered.
