Stephen Hammer is IBM’s Sports CTO and an IBM Distinguished Engineer. From within IBM’s iX unit, he leads the delivery team for IBM’s major event projects including the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, US Open Tennis Championships, the Grammy Awards, the Masters Golf Tournament, ESPN Fantasy Football and Pebble Beach Golf Resort. He has worked on IBM’s portfolio of major event projects for the last 22 years and has worked on over 150 major event projects over the course of his career. Automated digital content workflows are a key interest area of Stephen’s including the use of AI in the creation and management of video content.
