Nicole Reineke is CTO and co-Founder of Shift5.ai. Prior to this role, she was Senior Vice President of Innovation at Iron Mountain, and a Senior Distinguished Engineer in the office of the CTO at Dell Technologies. Over the last 20 years, she has founded and led high-tech companies. Position Statement
As an ISSIP Ambassador as well as an author in the ISSIP Business Expert Press book collections partnership, I am excited to have this opportunity to share my vision for the future of ISSIP: (1) Grow the core of ISSIP including strong industry-academic collaborations and recognition for service innovators. (2) Sharpen focus on key advancing technologies playing a role in service innovation, with an eye toward sustainability and service ethics. (3) Continue to expand the diversity and inclusiveness of ISSIP across academic disciplines, industry sectors, global cultures, and more.

Vaishali Mane

Short Bio (more on LinkedIn)
Vaishali Mane is an experienced senior project and product manager and consultant with a wide-range of industry experience from IT services at IBM, Akamai, and Google to financial services at Charles Schwab and Wells Fargo.  She has authored service research papers presented at major conferences on the topics of customer feedback and serviceability, and brings a global and diverse perspective to all her operations and innovation efforts. Her Masters is from IIT, Madras.

Position Statement
I have worked with ISSIP from the early days of IBM’s SSME (Service Science, Engineering, and Management) efforts.  As ISSIP enters its second decade, we have seen so many changes that impact the future of service innovation from the rise of smart phones and social media platforms, and now to the rise of the metaverse and AI tools. However, at the core of ISSIP are people at all stages of their careers from students to retirees.  How can ISSIP attract more great members, individual and institutional, as well as more active volunteers who can contribute an hour a week, or even one hour a month to helping the ISSIP community develop?  As ISSIP VP and President, working with the leadership and members of ISSIP that would be my focus and mission to improve.

Mauricio Manhaes

Short Bio (more on Linkedin)
With over 10 years of experience in service design, Dr. Manhaes is an expert in creating innovative and impactful service offerings based on human-centered artificial intelligence (HCAI). He has a PhD in Knowledge Management and Engineering, with a focus on service innovation and diversity. He has led service design teams and projects at Truist Bank, one of the largest financial services companies in the US, where he structured, hired, and activated six service design teams supporting different lines of business, and developed and applied a new XD Exploration Research framework with GenAI-ready processes. Currently, Dr. Manhaes is providing consultancy to companies on designing next-generation HCAI products and experiences for teams and organizations, under N.D.A. He is also the Group Lead of the Service Design Network Academic Task Force, where he advises the service design community on how to support and foster service design academic programs around the world. He is passionate about advancing the field of service design and empowering businesses and communities with human-centered design, service design, and innovation programs.

Position Statement
Over the years my students and I have contributed to ISSIP projects, and now as humanity enters the AI era, I would like to help the ISSIP community further embrace HCAI (Human-Centered AI) and service design.  A key challenge is education. All disciplines need to integrate HCAI and service design thinking into their curriculum.  All ISSIP members can upskill with AI to both give and get service better.
