Service science is one of the few disciplines that works the same way in any market — which is exactly why it needs a home like ISSIP. Its core ideas — value co-creation, service systems, win-win exchange — don’t depend on any one language or culture to make sense. That’s precisely the kind of common ground a discipline needs to solve problems in the global services economy we’re moving into — especially in the U.S., where services are fast becoming the center of gravity of the economy itself.
It’s also why ISSIP organizes the way it does: industry, academia, NGO and government, working from the same underlying framework across dozens of countries, rather than past each other.
If you’re a leader in service science, you already know the names of the people doing this work — the thinkers, inventors, and advisors shaping how AI and other transformative technologies should be implemented, and regulated, ethically. Many of them are here. ISSIP is where they compare notes, get peer review, and hold each other — and the field — to a higher standard.

ISSIP is wholly funded by partnerships and donors, so we can remain a free resource to individuals advancing service innovation for business and society.
Here are the three suggested investment levels, and benefits at each level:
- Logo visibility as a sustaining supporter
- Publish to ISSIP book collections (with editorial guidance)
- Participate in MyT-Me T-shape consulting workshops
- Access to ISSIP platforms for program/project development
- Mentoring/consulting with ISSIP leadership (1–2x/mo)
- Access to ISSIP platforms for development and promotion of programs/projects
- Participate in AI Collab and/or MyT-Me, Publishing and Events
- Experiential learning /Applied Project opportunity in AI Collab
- Mentoring/consulting with ISSIP leadership, up to 4x/mo
- Integrated ISSIP program management, connection-facilitation, and platform promotion

A resource the world needs — free to individuals, sustained by donors.
Participation in ISSIP is free for individuals — the community is funded by donor companies and institutions. Your personal contribution is optional, always tax-deductible, and often reimbursable:
Professional Association Fees: If your company covers these, your $250 annual donation may be reimbursable.
Certification Support: If your organization funds professional development, your $500 donation toward ISSIP credentials and courses may qualify for reimbursement.
Volunteer Funding: Volunteering with ISSIP (as an ambassador, ops team, etc.) can generate funding for the organization. Check whether your employer participates through Benevity or other hours/fund matching program
