AI COLLAB Offering: Bridging Academia and Industry for Innovative Solutions
Introduction
Welcome to the AI COLLAB Offering by ISSIP. Our program fosters a vibrant collaboration between academic institutions and industry, creating unique opportunities for students, faculty, and institutional members alike. Through this initiative, we aim to develop a thriving ecosystem where innovative ideas transform into tangible solutions that address real-world challenges.
ISSIP AI COLLAB Vision
ISSIP’s AI Collab was created to facilitate deeper engagement with ISSIP’s institutional donors, and ‘bridge the gap,’ between educational institutions, student learning and industry needs.
Since founding in 2023, student teams, advising faculty and mentoring ISSIP leadership have achieved significant milestones:
What do participants in ISSIP’s AI Collab gain?
In our first pilot project, we asked several teams to illustrate service innovation examples throughout history. Each team led their own exploration and shared their specific generative AI tools, prompts, and step-by-step instructions directly from these participating educational institutions. The products included playbooks, videos, prompt libraries, etc:
Here’s what participants have reported gaining from their participation in the AI Collab project:
