 Maureen Fitzgerald Norton, MBA, JD is co-author of “Analytics Across the Enterprise – How IBM Realizes Business Value from Big Data & Analytics” and a Distinguished Market Intelligence Professional in the Chief Analytics Office at IBM.  She leads transformation initiatives to drive faster insights for the enterprise through the use of analytics and cognitive technologies. Maureen pioneered the development of an outcome-focused communications strategy to drive the culture change needed for analytics and cognitive adoption. In her current role Maureen is the Global Data Science Profession Leader.

Previously Maureen created case studies and innovative learning exercises and taught big data and analytics workshops for MBA students at universities in Europe, the Middle East and the US. She led analytic project teams in public safety, global social services, commerce, and merchandising, specializing in cost/benefit analysis and return on investment of analytic.  She has also been published in the Journal of Management Systems.  She is a graduate of University of Connecticut School of Law and a member of the Connecticut Bar. Maureen is a dual citizen of the US and Ireland.
