Hult-ISSIP-IBM Student Mentorship Pilot May 2013 – August 2013

Jeff Saperstein, Professor and Marjan Mohsenin, Executive Director, Corporate Relations North America,  Hult International Business School, San Francisco collaborated ISSIP, and ISSIP corporate institutional member, IBM to launch our first ISSIP Open Innovation Coaching Program (OICP). The Pilot consisted of two phases:  1) MBA students received coaching working on ISSIP specific, ISSIP and IBM reviewed, project, 2) Students received coaching working with IBM, and ISSIP as part of their learning in a new Service Thinking Course offered by Professors Jeff Saperstein, and Hunter Hastings.  In both phases, students were selected based on academic performance.

Pilot Phase I

Duration: 10 weeks,

  3. Innovation Models and Service Innovation 

 Pilot Phase II

Duration: 4 weeks

One team worked with Jim Spohrer, IBM Innovations Champion, and ISSIP Co-Founder who has posted the results here.  

Another  team –  Guy Larkin, Vanessa Romero, Juliana Maciel, worked with me to apply Service Thinking Principles to  recommend more ways ISSIP could co-create value for its members and increase members engagement and participation.
