“This project was a great experience for the team to become more familiar with AI and its capabilities and will greatly benefit the ISSIP volunteers who follow the playbook.” – John

Process/Approach: To start the project, the team conducted quick sprints or practice runs on historic service innovations to create content on historic service innovations using AI. By conducting these quick sprints, the team got more familiar with AI tools prior to creating the playbook. With the knowledge taken from the quick sprints, the first draft of the playbook was made. After the first draft was made, the team created a playbook survey to be filled out by others to receive feedback on the playbook. With sponsor feedback and survey feedback, the team continually updated the playbook into what would be the final playbook. Throughout the process of updating the playbook, the team created an AI Tool Selection Guide, Quality and Productivity Framework, and 3 example case studies that can be referenced by ISSIP volunteers when creating content with AI.

Learning or profound insight: Our team stands out from other teams due to the purpose of the project. This project is meant to create a playbook to help volunteers create content with AI to inform others about historic service innovations. The playbook helps serve ISSIP in informing others on historic service innovation and provides a great service to ISSIP volunteers who inexperienced with AI.
